Airway Development Management Agency, a United States based organization, in conjunction with the Society of Specialists in Airway Management Nigeria (SSAM) have recognized and made DUFUTH the Airway Simulation Centre in South East and headquarter for training in airway management in Ebonyi state. 

David Umahi Federal University Teaching Hospital is now category 2 (Substation Centre) in South East. 

We are however, mandated to conduct two airway workshops in partnership with the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital (South east headquarter) before the National Airway workshop in  FEBRUARY 2024, so as to enable DUFUTH receive their independent 10 sets of AIRWAY SIMULATION EQUIPMENT for the activation of DUFUTH AIRWAY SIMULATION CENTRE, from the US Donor agency.
